Born and raised in the SF Bay Area, James has been in the restaurant industry his entire life. James’s father owned an Italian wholesale seafood company. This always linked him to work with the best dinning establishments and bars. At a young age, James found this emersion to be the catalyst to his intrigue into the restaurant industry. Summers were always spent working with his father in or around restaurants.
At 19, James started bar backing. This lead to his passion for beverage. Through independent study, seminars, classes, and hands on participation, James is always striving to learn more in the world of wine and spirit. As a Certified Sommelier, James loves to spread his passion through teaching and above all, the guest experience.
